According to Amazon’s official notice, starting from August 1, 2024, “Selling on Amazon”, Amazon Logistics and other services originally provided by Amazon Services Europe s.àrl (ASE) will be fully transferred to Amazon EU s.àr.l. (AEU). This change means that all agreements, policies, terms and conditions related to ASE, including the Amazon Payments agreement, will be updated to the AEU version.

The core of this change is that the invoice issuing entity will be changed from ASE to AEU. For sellers registered in countries with AEU branches such as the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Poland, Belgium and Sweden, starting from August 1, the local AEU branch will directly issue invoices for them, and the VAT will be deducted from the fees charged by Amazon according to local VAT rules. For sellers registered outside these countries, invoices will still be issued by the AEU headquarters, but the VAT treatment method remains unchanged
