China Airlines considers ordering four freighters

On November 12, China Airlines is considering ordering four freighters and 20 passenger planes. According to China Airlines’ official website, as of October 31, the airline had a total of 17 freighters, including 9 B777Fs and 8 B747-400Fs.

Although China Airlines currently has only Boeing freighters in its fleet, the airline has not yet expressed a preference for Boeing or Airbus freighter models. The results of the US election will be an important factor in its decision on which freighter model to order. If the airline chooses to purchase the new generation B777-8F or A350F model, it will face a long wait.
